Job Title: Associate Vice President - Insurance & Actuarial

One of the world's leading insurers is seeking to hire a Risk & Capital Actuary to join their Central ERM team. This role involves overseeing Risk and Capital Management & Modelling processes across global locations.

The successful candidate will develop and refine ERM processes, enhance risk reporting tools and dashboards, perform capital assessments, support model validations, and conduct stress testing and scenario analyses. The role also includes identifying emerging risks and supervising relevant projects for international operations. Collaboration with internal teams such as actuarial, compliance, audit, and finance is essential, requiring strong relationships with leaders and staff across functions.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a well-resourced, efficient, and vital function within the company. It provides a fast-paced, varied role with close interaction with the CRO and direct reporting to the Head of Risk, offering significant development opportunities.

Role Requirements:

• Nearly or Newly (>1-year PQE) Qualified Actuary, through IFoA or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of relevant practical experience.
• Background in Actuarial Risk and/or Capital, with knowledge of Solvency II or equivalent.
• Prior Lloyd's Market experience is beneficial but not mandatory; candidates from other re/insurance backgrounds are also considered.
