Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Accounting, Reporting & Controls team in Bristol. You will coordinate risk management across the Energy division, work with senior leaders and operational teams, and contribute to internal controls and audits.

The role requires ACA/ICAEW/ICAS qualifications, a proactive mindset, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to convey complex information clearly. Hybrid working with two days per week in west Bristol.

Job description

As Risk Analyst, you'll join the Accounting, Reporting & Controls team act as the central coordinator for risk management activities across the Energy business, working closely with divisional leadership, operational teams and specialist functions to identify, assess and mitigate key business risks. You'll also gain exposure to internal controls, governance and audit activities.

• Managing and maintaining risk registers across the Energy division.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to identify and challenge strategic, operational and financial risks.
• Producing risk reporting and presentations for leadership teams, boards and audit committees.
• Supporting the development and testing of internal controls.
• Contributing to internal audit activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working across multiple functions including Operations, Commercial, Finance, IT, Procurement and Legal.
• Helping drive a more proactive and risk-aware culture across the business.

Profile

We're interested in speaking with individuals who have experience within Risk, Internal Audit, Governance, Compliance or Internal Controls and are keen to broaden their impact within a commercial environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A full ACA/ICAEW/ICAS qualification

Job Offer

• Salary between £50,000 and £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• 10% to 14% performance bonus.
• 7% pension contribution with 7% cashback option.
