Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Accounting, Reporting & Controls team in the Energy business. You will manage risk registers, work with senior stakeholders, and support internal controls and governance activities.

The role requires ACA/ICAEW/ICAS qualification (or part-qualified with experience), strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to influence leaders. Hybrid working with two days per week in West Bristol is offered.

Responsibilities

Job description

As Risk Analyst, you'll join the Accounting, Reporting & Controls team act as the central coordinator for risk management activities across the Energy business, working closely with divisional leadership, operational teams and specialist functions to identify, assess and mitigate key business risks. You'll also gain exposure to internal controls, governance and audit activities.

• Managing and maintaining risk registers across the Energy division.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to identify and challenge strategic, operational and financial risks.
• Producing risk reporting and presentations for leadership teams, boards and audit committees.
• Supporting the development and testing of internal controls.
• Contributing to internal audit activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working across multiple functions including Operations, Commercial, Finance, IT, Procurement and Legal.
• Helping drive a more proactive and risk-aware culture across the business.

Profile

We're interested in speaking with individuals who have experience within Risk, Internal Audit, Governance, Compliance or Internal Controls and are keen to broaden their impact within a commercial environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Job Offer

• Salary between £50,000 and £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• 10% to 14% performance bonus.
• 7% pension contribution with 7% cashback option.
