Job summary

The Emerald Group in London is seeking a lead specialist to work with the Manager to understand, review, calculate and validate current and forward-looking projections of standard formula regulatory and rating agency capital for the Company’s relevant entities.

Key duties include liaising with the business to address data anomalies, producing high-quality reporting and analysis of movement, and taking responsibility for inputs to rating agency capital formulae supplied to rating agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience with regulatory capital and rating agency frameworks.
• Ability to liaise with multiple teams to resolve data issues.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

• Take responsibility of inputs to rating agency capital formulae.
• Assess regulatory requirements and implement developments and industry insights.
• Contribute to Capital Strategy and CMAP reporting.

• Produce high quality reporting, including analysis of change reports articulating key areas of movement
• Take responsibility of inputs to rating agency capital formulae provided to rating agencies by the Company to rating agencies
• Assess regulatory requirements and implement/apply developments and industry insights into work
• Play a key role in formulation of the Capital Strategy across the Company and design / implementation of the Capital Management Action Plan (CMAP) including internal and external reporting
