Davies is seeking a Junior Costs Negotiator in Birmingham to pursue the settlement of legal costs on MOD disease claims. You will proactively review cases, formulate initial costs strategies, and provide comprehensive advice to clients while initiating early telephone negotiations with opponents.

You will liaise with Insurers and colleagues, maintain client SLAs and KPIs, and contribute to the Costs team's success. Training and a development plan support career progression.

Qualificações

• Degree and/or LPC and/or ALCD is required or preferred.
• Experience in client liaison and giving advice both verbally and in writing is desirable.
• Strong telephone negotiation skills and ability to plan/work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Manage own caseload from receipt to resolution of costs.
• Proactively reviewing cases to formulate initial costs strategy and settlement parameters.
• Prepare points of dispute and consider replies.
• Negotiate settlement of costs and discuss with opponents over the telephone.
• Update clients with progress and ensure SLAs are met.
• Instruct counsel and attend conferences and hearings, remotely or in person.
• Deliver performance targets and adhere to quality standards and MI requirements.
• Mentor a Paralegal and develop technical ability.
