Job summary

Apple is seeking a GPU Top Level Physical Design engineer to join our Silicon Technologies group in Greater London. The successful candidate will be responsible for chip design, ensuring high-performance and power-efficiency. You will collaborate closely with the FE team and develop methodologies that enhance GPU design.

Your role will include driving innovation in physical design, managing guidelines, and supervising execution to meet back-end goals. This position requires substantial experience in ASIC integration and proven problem-solving skills, making it ideal for a dynamic and detail-oriented engineer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
• Familiar with ASIC integration including Floorplanning and Power distribution.
• Proven track record in solving complex PD and cross-functional problems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FE team to drive physical aspects early in design cycle.
• Develop methodologies and guidelines for best-in-class GPU design.
• Communicate and drive PD needs with cross-functional teams.
