About Us

Join our team as a Riding Instructor/Groom and play a key role in the care and training of our horses while delivering engaging and safe riding lessons for clients. You'll be responsible for daily horse care and ensuring enjoyable and structured riding experiences for riders of all levels.

The Role

As a Riding Instructor/Groom, you will provide individual and group riding lessons, create lesson plans, and develop training programs. You will also carry out daily grooming, feeding, and other horse care duties, and support clients during riding activities to ensure safety and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group riding lessons across various levels and ages.
• Create lesson plans, equestrian activities, and events such as gymkhanas and pony club competitions.
• Assess rider abilities and develop tailored training programs.
• Carry out daily horse care, including grooming, feeding, and exercise.
• Monitor horse health and report any injuries or unusual behaviour.
• Maintain tack, equipment, and stable areas.
• Assist with transporting horses as needed.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience as a Groom and in delivering riding instruction.
• Can ride to BHS Stage 2 standard or equivalent.
• Holds a relevant coaching qualification (e.g., BHS Stage 2 Coach, desirable).
• Has experience working with children.
• Holds a clean UK driving licence.
• Has an equine qualification (desirable).
