Job Description:

Coworth Park, Dorchester Collection's luxury country house hotel and spa, is seeking a professional, motivated individual with a passion and experience in handling horses to fulfill the role of Instructor/Groom.

• Provide the highest level of care and presentation for the horses and deliver exceptional service to guests.

• All yard duties including feeding, haying, mucking out, turn-out, grooming, clipping, and bandaging.

• Maintain the stable, horses, and equipment in immaculate condition.

• Schooling horses to keep them well-trained and exercised daily — must be an experienced rider.

• Prepare horses for riding by guests.

• Escort hacks around the estate on foot or riding.

• Welcome guests politely and friendly.

• Fit guests with safety equipment before riding.

• Teach guests of the hotel and local clients on ponies and horses with knowledge, enthusiasm, and a focus on safety (once trained).

Further training available with BHS Stage 5 on site. Benefits include free uniform and meals.
