Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking an RICS Qualified Estates Manager to oversee the UK property portfolio, including approximately 150 stores and 70 residential units. You will lead landlord and tenant negotiations, lease management, and rent reviews, while working with the Head of Property to develop long-term strategy for the estate.

Qualifications

• General property professional with a degree-level qualification in estate or property transactions.
• Minimum 5 years' general property experience, retail/multi-site preferred.
• RICS qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property issues and landlord relationships.
• Liaise with Legal, Operations, and Finance to ensure smooth department operation.
• Oversee maintenance to ensure repairs are fast, efficient and cost effective.
• Coordinate with solicitors, agents and planning consultants with the wider property team.
• Prepare reports with recommendations and strong financials for senior management.
• Lead on transactions, renewals, and rent reviews; manage lettings.
• Forecast costs and maximise utilisation of the estate.
