Building Surveying experience is essential, with an autonomous workload and client relationship management. You will join a supportive team and contribute to high-quality, impartial reporting.

Qualifications

• AssocRICS or MRICS qualified, or working towards membership.
• Residential surveying experience and inspections.
• Familiar with RICS Home Survey Level 2 standards and reporting procedures.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, defects and property maintenance.
• Ability to identify structural and maintenance concerns during inspections.
• Strong report-writing and clear client communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking residential property inspections and completing RICS Level 2 Home Surveys.
• Examine building elements such as roofs, walls, floors and finishes.
• Record defects, highlight concerns and flag need for further investigation.
• Produce comprehensive survey reports with condition ratings and recommendations.
• Discuss survey findings with clients and explain implications for purchase.
• Plan inspection schedules and ensure reports are completed on time.

What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a RICS Building Surveyor:
