Worth Recruiting – Property Industry Recruitment is seeking an experienced RICS Building Surveyor in Bracknell. The role involves carrying out Level 2 Home Surveys and delivering clear, professional reports for residential properties.

Permanent, full-time position with a competitive, experience-based package. The ideal candidate will be AssocRICS or MRICS or working towards RICS membership, with strong report-writing and client communication skills.

Qualifications

• AssocRICS or MRICS qualification, or working towards RICS membership.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of Level 2 Home Survey requirements and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Level 2 Home Surveys and residential property inspections.
• Assessing the condition of properties and identifying defects, maintenance issues and potential risks.
• Preparing detailed, accurate and easy-to-understand survey reports.
• Providing professional advice and guidance to clients on property condition and any recommended remedial works.
• Managing survey appointments, workloads and reporting deadlines effectively.
• Maintaining high professional standards and delivering excellent client service throughout the surveying process.

This role will ideally suit an AssocRICS on the APC pathway, or a RICS-qualified surveyor with experience in Level 2 Home Surveys.

• Strong understanding of building construction, property defects and maintenance issues
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports
• Confident communicating technical information to clients in an accessible manner
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for property inspections
