Job summary

PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED partnership with a Southampton-based audit practice to recruit an Audit Director with RI signatory capability to join the leadership team. You’ll lead high-stakes audits, develop client relationships and shape the future direction of the practice.

With oversight of a £1m+ portfolio and a track record of signing audits, you’ll mentor senior staff, drive business development and contribute to strategic growth across a diverse client base including regional subsidiaries

Qualifications

• Audit Director-level experience with RI signatory.
• Experience managing a portfolio around £1m+.
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
• Ambition for broader leadership within a growing practice.
• Collaborative leadership style and ability to develop people.

Responsibilities

• Managing and growing a £1m+ portfolio.
• Leading complex audit assignments as an RI.
• Developing and strengthening client relationships.
• Supporting business development and securing new business opportunities.
• Supporting and mentoring an established management team.
• Contributing to the continued growth and strategic direction of the audit practice.
• Playing a key role in the future development of the audit team.
