Job summary

Millennium Staffing Limited is seeking reliable Registered General Nurses to work in Derby care homes on a flexible agency basis. The role focuses on safe, person-centred nursing care aligned with individual care plans and collaboration with care staff and healthcare professionals.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, maintain documentation, and respond to emergencies. Flexibility for day/night shifts and weekends may be needed; valid NMC registration and right to work in the UK

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse.
• UK care home or similar healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities.
• Right to work in the UK and up-to-date mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans.
• Administer medication safely and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate nursing notes, care records and incident reports.
• Support residents with physical, emotional and healthcare needs.
• Liaise with GPs, community nurses, pharmacists, and hospitals as required.
• Participate in staff handovers and ensure effective communication of information.
• Follow infection prevention, safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
• Support and supervise care staff where required.
• Respond to emergencies and follow home emergency procedures.
• Maintain residents' dignity, privacy and independence.
• Work in line with NMC standards and company policies.

Job Description

We are looking for reliable and compassionate Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work in care homes in Derby. The successful candidate will provide safe, professional and person-centred nursing care to residents while working closely with care staff and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Administer medication safely and maintain accurate medication records.
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional.

Shift Requirements
