Skycare is seeking Registered Nurses with UK-based experience to provide high-quality care in a residential setting. The role requires a valid UK RN qualification, active NMC PIN, and a caring, patient-focused approach to support residents with dignity and respect.

The position offers full-time hours (36-48 per week) for day shifts with an hourly pay starting at £20.5, plus enhanced pay on bank holidays and paid breaks on 12-hour shifts.

• Experience in care home settings for older adults is essential.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a clinical setting, must have good care planning knowledge as well as be a good motivator an passion for providing exceptional, kind, personailized care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.

ABOUT YOU:

• An RGN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.

Working as an RGN Nurse (Registered General Nurse)

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long term service users.
• Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
• Be competent and confident in managing people with long term health conditions.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs.
• Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate).
• Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex,urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
• Recognise and work within own competence level
• Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
• Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis.
