Job summary

ETL Systems, a leader in RF design and manufacturing for satellite communications, seeks a Test Engineer for its Hereford facility. You will ensure RF system performance, quality and reliability through hands-on testing, calibration, and documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design and manufacturing teams to maintain high standards. Focus on RF test procedures, equipment calibration, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF testing and validation of RF systems.
• Ability to read and create wiring diagrams and follow test procedures.
• Experience documenting test results and issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF testing using spectrum analysers, network analysers, and signal generators.
• Troubleshoot RF systems and components with design engineers as needed.
• Maintain testing equipment: calibration and functioning for accurate measurements.
• Ensure RF products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document test procedures, results, and issues encountered.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
