Job summary

Cubic Defense in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled field service technician responsible for maintenance and repair of client equipment on Cubic assets, including complex fault diagnosis, to support the Field Services Team Leader.

You will carry out routine maintenance on IT and RF infrastructure, attend faults, document analyses, and ensure safety and compliance. Travel to UK sites up to 20% allowed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in RF equipment maintenance (VHF/UHF) and high-band networks.
• Basic fibre optic experience.
• Basic IT networking (Switches/Hubs/Ethernet).
• Ability to write accurate reports and documentation.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to pass MoD security vetting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on IT/RF infrastructure.
• Attend faults with systematic fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Provide detailed fault analyses for high-priority faults.
• Mentor and support other service technicians.
• Prepare asset upgrade and maintenance reports for management.
