Job summary

Cubic Defense in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to service RF and IT infrastructure on Cubic assets. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and document analyses while adhering to safety and contract requirements.

The role involves supervising junior technicians, supporting the Repair Centre where needed, and occasional travel (20%) for deployable exercises within the UK.

Qualifications

• Essential: RF maintenance on IT/RF infrastructure and high/low band networks.
• Essential: Fibre optic experience.
• Essential: IT networking (switches/hubs/ethernet).
• Essential: Ability to write accurate reports and documentation.
• Essential: Full UK driving licence.
• Essential: Able to pass MoD security vetting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on system (IT/RF) infrastructure as stated in the contract.
• Attend faults and utilise logical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Provide and document detailed fault analysis on high priority and complex faults.
• Ensure activities are performed safely and to a high standard.
• Produce shift reports and asset upgrade reports for senior management.
