Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an RF and Satcom Engineer to join its UK team. You will work across satellite, networking, cloud infrastructure, and bespoke communications systems while engaging directly with customers.

The role requires hands‑on technical capability, excellent customer‑facing skills, and willingness to travel UK and internationally to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Solid RF and satcom fundamentals across a range of platforms and technologies.
• Networking experience – SD‑WAN, Peplink, and MPLS.
• Hands‑on AWS experience: Linux deployment, tunnel configuration, DNS, and log analysis.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands‑on technical support across satcom, networking, and cloud workstreams.
• Supporting field demonstrations and customer‑facing technical engagements in the UK and internationally.
• Deploying and managing AWS Linux instances, configuring DNS, building tunnels, and pulling logs as required.
• Supporting configuration and troubleshooting of SD‑WAN and Peplink solutions.
• Working with satellite platforms including KU GEO, Iridium, OneWeb, and Starlink.
• Travelling to customer sites in the UK and internationally as required.
