What you’ll be doing
- Perform detailed analysis of network performance and customer experience in a specific geographical area.
- Develop and implement detailed improvement plans to enhance network performance using existing radio network capabilities.
- Analyze public benchmark data (Umlaut and root metrics) to identify failures and implement strategies to reduce future risks.
- Identify and prioritize investment needs to improve customer experience, building compelling business cases for investment.
- Monitor network performance, investigate failure causes, and identify trends across the network.
- Support the development of less experienced team members and promote knowledge sharing to improve overall team skills.
- Collaborate with operations and managed service providers to address operational faults affecting performance.
- Prepare evidence packs to support decision-making, issue resolution, and investment approval.
- Utilize advanced data analytics skills to enhance operational processes.
- Assist regional managers with priority tasks as needed.
What you'll bring
Mandatory:
- Expertise in Mobile Network RAN optimization, planning, or performance management.
- Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations with incomplete information.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to justify actions and influence decisions.
- Experience with Huawei, Ericsson, or Nokia performance counters and parameters.
- Knowledge of crowd data sources and their application in understanding radio propagation and customer hotspots.
- Proficiency in survey analysis, including layer 3 message diagnostics.
- Team-oriented attitude.
