We are looking for an RF Planning & Optimization Specialist to join our team at BT. This role impacts:

• Network performance, efficiency, and customer experience (including Emergency Services Network)
• Maintaining and strengthening EE/BT's position as the #1 UK mobile network and aiming for a top ten global network
• Public perception and PR related to network performance and customer experience

The role's purpose is to improve Radio Coverage & Performance through effective management and localized optimization.

What you’ll be doing

• Analyze network performance and customer experience in specific areas
• Develop and implement improvement plans for continuous network enhancement
• Analyze benchmark failures and implement measures to reduce future risks
• Identify investment needs to improve customer experience and justify investments
• Monitor network performance, investigate trends, and identify common issues
• Support team development and share knowledge
• Collaborate with operations and service providers to resolve faults
• Create evidence packs to support decision-making and investment
• Utilize advanced data analytics to improve processes
• Assist regional management with priority tasks

What you'll bring

Mandatory:

• Expertise in Mobile Network RAN optimization/planning and performance
• Decision-making skills in ambiguous situations
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Huawei/Ericsson/Nokia performance counters
• Knowledge of crowd data sources for radio propagation and customer hotspots
• Survey analysis skills, including layer 3 message diagnostics
• Team-oriented attitude
