Job summary

Teledyne Labtech, based in Presteigne, Mid Wales, seeks a tooling/ manufacturing support engineer to convert technical drawings into production tooling. You will generate drill and rout programs, create files for imaging and inspection, and manage process flows in the XA ERP system.

Qualifications include a degree (preferred) or GCSE STEM, strong numeracy and IT skills, and familiarity with PCB manufacture. Experience in PCB environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in understanding technical drawings and using computer applications to create tooling for manufacture.
• Degree level education preferred but not essential.
• Good numeracy skills and IT literacy (Office, Word, Excel).
• Experience in printed circuit manufacture would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process data through CAD software Genesis LT and generate tooling for production.
• Create drill programs and rout programs for manufacturing.
• Generate files for Direct Imaging, AOI and Bare Board (BBT).
• Create and load process flows in XA ERP and load existing flows.
