Job summary

Teledyne Labtech, based in Presteigne, Wales, seeks an engineering-focused professional to transform CAD data into production tooling. You will generate drill/rout programs, imaging files, AOI outputs and Bare Board data, while creating and loading process flows in the XA ERP system.

Ideal candidates have a degree, STEM GCSEs, and numeracy skills, plus IT proficiency (Office, Word, Excel). PCB manufacturing experience is advantageous in a dynamic, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level preferred but not essential.
• Educated in to GCSE (grades >4.4) standard or above in STEM subjects.
• Good numeracy skills.
• IT literate, specifically email (Office), Word and Excel.
• Experience in printed circuit manufacture would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process data through CAD software Genesis LT and generate tooling for production, including:-
• Drill Programs
• Rout Programs
• Files for Direct Imaging
• Files for Automatic Optical inspection (AOI)
• Files for Bare Board (BBT)
• Create Process flows for new jobs within our ERP software XA.
• Loading existing Process flows within our ERP software XA

About You

We are looking for you to have a background in understanding technical drawings and using computer applications to create the necessary tools and processes for manufacture.

It would be preferable if you had a background in PCB’s to understand our current market, however it is not essential.

You will be required to provide technical support to new and existing customers and assist with New Product Introductions.
