Job summary

MERITUS are recruiting for an RF EW Product Engineer to join our client within the defence sector on a 6-month contract. Hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days onsite at Stevenage or Bristol; BPSS/SC clearance necessary and eligible for SC clearance; Inside IR35.

You will work on the development and delivery of RF Electronic Support and Electronic Attack equipment within complex defence systems, coordinating with engineering teams, customers and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and

Qualifications

• Strong RF and electronic systems knowledge.
• Experience with ES and EA systems is advantageous.
• Ability to write clear, verifiable technical requirements.
• Experience working with Design Authorities and customers.
• Experience managing technical trades and engineering decisions.
• Track record of progressing work packages and statuses.
• Ability to define verification and validation strategies.
• Knowledge of functional and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver RF ES/EA equipment within complex defence systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, customers and partners to meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Define verification and validation strategies and gather technical evidence.
• Manage equipment requirements and their flow-down to internal/external design teams and suppliers.
