Senior RF Engineer
SC Cleared + Eligible for DV

Role Location: Romsey (Hybrid)

Salary: £65k - £85k DOE

Role Details:

We are partnering with a forward-thinking and innovative technology company that provides world-leading defence solutions to the UK Government. The company develops electronic surveillance and interference products used to support critical missions. They are seeking a RF Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge RF electronics for defence and electromagnetic warfare applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, simulate, and implement RF and analogue electronic circuits and systems for defence-related projects using cutting-edge solutions.
2. Conduct hands-on integration, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of RF and analogue electronic circuits, systems, and components to optimize performance.
3. Participate in design reviews and provide valuable technical input to enhance project outcomes.
4. Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documentation and reports focusing on RF and analogue electronic circuits and systems.

Requirements:

1. Experience in RF design engineering.
2. Experience in development and use of RF performance models and PCB circuit layout design.
3. Experience in designing solutions with very low SWaP-C.
4. Experience in RF design for harsh environments.
5. Experience overseeing the transition of development hardware into production, including environmental testing, qualification testing, and design certification.
6. Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, power meters, signal generators, filters, switches, receivers, and power supplies.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have active SC Clearance and be eligible for DV clearance. Candidates must be UK nationals and have resided in the UK for the past 10 years.
