An established industry player is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer or Senior RF Engineer to join their innovative RF Group. Diamond Light Source is one of the world's most advanced scientific facilities. We are home to the UK's synchrotron light source, a giant microscope producing beams of light 10 billion times brighter than the sun. Our work probes the structure and composition of matter, driving innovation in areas from vaccines to nanotechnology.
Currently, we are undertaking a major upgrade of the facility, known as Diamond-II. This upgrade will include a new machine and beamlines, along with enhancements to optics, detectors, sample environments, sample delivery capabilities, and computing, ultimately creating an even more brilliant light source at higher energy.
We have an opportunity for a Radio Frequency Engineer or Senior RF Engineer to support the RF Group. The role requires expertise in designing, developing, operating, and maintaining RF high and low power systems.
Applicants will be considered for either the RF Engineer or Senior RF Engineer position based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
You should hold a degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., RF or Electronics Engineering) or demonstrate equivalent experience.
