Job Opportunity: RF Design Engineer

We are supporting a Cambridge-based client in seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of future products and new technology development. You will take a system-wide view of Mobile RF solutions, bring hands-on expertise in RF design at the PCB board level, and work on GSM/LTE platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to envision effective product architectures and ensure architectural integrity aligned with technology roadmaps.

Requirements for RF Design Engineer:

• System-wide view of Mobile RF solutions
• Strong background in RF design at the PCB board level
• Hands-on experience with GSM/LTE platforms (Qualcomm or MediaTek)
• Proven track record in designing and bringing up mobile RF platforms
• Proficient with RF simulation tools (ADS, MWO)
• Experience in digital baseband RF integration

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with EM simulation tools (CST, HFSS, FEKO)
• Mobile antenna design expertise
• Experience in creating and maintaining reference designs
