Job summary

TTP, an employee-owned technology and product development consultancy near Cambridge, is seeking a commercially minded RF engineer. You will develop specialist products for air defence, counter-UAS and space situational awareness, collaborating with teams across the business.

The role offers autonomy, variety, and opportunity to move projects from concept to deployable capability, with on-site facilities including RF lab and micro-fabrication.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in RF and communications systems with hands-on experience building and debugging RF circuits.
• A 1st or 2:1 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Creative, hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support and work with an interdisciplinary team.
• Curiosity and initiative to seek out new technologies and explore new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop specialist RF products for clients ranging from startups to Tier 1 defence and aerospace companies (air defence, counter-UAS, space situational awareness).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to take bold ideas from concept to deployable capability.
• Contribute to projects from early stages through deployment, delivering tangible impact.
