Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Electrical or Electronic Engineering; RF or Microwave Engineering; Applied Physics; Microsystems or Microengineering; Instrumentation.
• For Research Associate level, normally a PhD or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement experimental procedures for electrical, RF and high-frequency characterisation of externally fabricated microelectronic devices.
• Design and establish laboratory measurement arrangements for evaluating device performance.
• Analyse experimental measurements and compare with modelling or theory from the wider project team.
• Maintain accurate experimental records and prepare technical reports summarising results and recommendations.
• Present experimental results at project meetings and contribute to publications.
