Job summary

Connells Group is seeking a Reward Advisor to join our team at Milton Keynes head office. You will administer reward activity, manage core benefits and deliver reward communications to the business.

You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day reward inquiries, support pay reviews and liaise with providers to ensure data accuracy and timely invoicing. You will also support Workday reward workflows and participate in benefit renewals.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working within a HR/Reward role.
  • Proactive and customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to communicate complex information, adapting style to suit audience.
  • Data literate and able to present data in a clear format.
  • Strong Microsoft suite capability with good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to apply discretion managing sensitive information.
  • Understanding of legislative and regulatory issues affecting reward.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits market.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, someone who strives for excellence.
  • A team player.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Highly numerate with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for all benefit related queries and provide advice and guidance to the wider people team escalating complex queries where necessary.
  • Support all operational reward activity across the Group, including medical and risk benefit renewals, bonus / incentive awards and pay reviews.
  • Facilitate bookings for job evaluations/levelling and salary benchmark requests, maintaining appropriate records.
  • Manage the administration of insurance based benefits (life, critical illness, etc.) claims management process, ensuring a seamless experience for those involved.
  • Support the day-to-day relationship with 3rd party providers, ensuring that accurate data is provided, scheme documentation is up-to-date, invoices are processed on time and any agreed SLAs/ KPIs are met.
  • Update and maintain reward matrices, highlighting any opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements which may relate to pay and benefits.
  • Support the Reward Team members with the delivery of reward communications, maintain benefit pages on the internal intranet, ensuring the provision of clear and accurate information.
  • Support tendering and retendering processes in conjunction with the Reward Director and wider Reward team, liaising with Procurement and Finance functions where appropriate.
  • Work with the wider People team to ensure the maintenance and integrity of People data.

Job description

We are looking for a Reward Advisor to join our driven team in our brand new head office in central Milton Keynes. The main purpose of this role is to support with the administration of all reward activity and wider reward workload, enabling the delivery of the Group’s reward strategy.
