Job summary

Lumesse in Milton Keynes is seeking a Reward Analyst to deliver accurate reward data, analysis, and insights to shape the group’s reward strategy. You will support annual cycles, including pay reviews, bonuses, and benchmarking, through modelling, reporting and data quality assurance.

  • Experience as an analyst using HR, reward or workforce data.
  • Advanced Excel with pivot tables and lookups.
  • Experience with salary benchmarking or market pay analysis.
  • Experience with reward cycle modelling.
  • Experience with Workday or comparable HCM tools.
  • CIPD qualification or studying towards.
  • Degree or professional qualification in a numerate field.
  • Ability to present data clearly and communicate complex information.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and quality-assure reward models and reports, including pay review and bonus/incentive modelling.
  • Support the annual reward cycle by preparing and validating data, and reconciling outputs with Payroll and Finance.
  • Carry out salary benchmarking and market pay analysis, including submissions to external salary surveys, presenting findings in a clear format.
  • Analyse pay data to support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce regular reward management information and dashboards for the Reward Team, People Team and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide data and analysis to support Remuneration Committee and senior leadership papers.
  • Update and maintain reward matrices, pay structures and job evaluation/levelling records.
  • Analyse benefit take-up, costs and provider performance data to support renewals and reviews.
  • Support operation/maintenance of the HR System and reward reports to ensure data accuracy.
  • Work with Payroll, Finance and People team to maintain data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve reward reporting and processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests across the business, maintaining confidentiality.

Job description

We are looking for a Reward Analyst to join our driven team in our brand new head office in central Milton Keynes. You will p rovide accurate, timely reward data, analysis and insight to support decision-making and the delivery of the Group's reward strategy. You will support the annual reward cycle, including pay reviews, bonus / incentive awards and benchmarking, through modelling, reporting and data quality assurance and act as the Reward Team's first point of contact for reward data, supporting compliance reporting and the effective use of People systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain and quality-assure reward models and reports, including pay review and bonus / incentive modelling and costings.
  • Support the annual reward cycle by preparing and validating data, and reconciling outputs with Payroll and Finance.
  • Carry out salary benchmarking and market pay analysis, including submissions to external salary surveys, presenting findings in a clear format.
  • Analyse pay data to support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, equal pay and gender pay gap reporting.
  • Produce regular reward management information and dashboards for the Reward Team, People Team and senior stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Provide data and analysis to support Remuneration Committee and senior leadership papers, ensuring accuracy and delivery to deadline.
  • Update and maintain reward matrices, pay structures and job evaluation/levelling records, highlighting any opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse benefit take-up, costs and provider performance data to support benefit renewals, tendering processes and supplier reviews.
  • Support the effective operation and maintenance of the HR System, building and maintaining reward reports and ensuring that reward data remains accurate.
  • Work with Payroll, Finance and the wider People team to ensure the maintenance and integrity of People data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve reward reporting and processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from across the business, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience of working in an analyst role using HR, reward or workforce data.
  • Advanced Excel capability (formulae, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Data literate and able to present data in a clear format
  • Ability to communicate complex information, adapting style to suit audience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to apply discretion managing sensitive information.
  • Understanding of legislative and regulatory issues affecting reward
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, someone who strives for excellence
