Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a technically strong Technical Designer to develop and coordinate technical design information for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. You will produce detailed drawings using Revit and work closely with design managers and subcontractors to ensure designs are buildable and construction-ready.

Ideal candidates have experience in a Technical Designer/Architectural Technician role, strong Revit skills, and a good understanding of construction detailing

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Designer or similar (Architectural Technician/Technical Coordinator).
• Strong knowledge of Revit and producing detailed technical information.
• Experience on commercial fit-out/refurbishment or interior construction projects.
• Solid understanding of construction detailing, design coordination and buildability.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings and design packages using Revit.
• Develop coordinated design information for commercial fit-out/refurbishment schemes.
• Collaborate with Design Managers, project teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Review and resolve technical design issues to ensure buildability.
• Coordinate architectural layouts, construction details and related design information.
• Support projects through design development into construction phase.
• Maintain accurate drawing packages and ensure timely information release.
