Job summary

Centre People Appointments is recruiting an Architectural Assistant (Part 2, Revit Specialist) to join its London office and work on office and showroom refurbishment projects across the UK.

You will produce detailed construction drawings, BIM/Revit models and technical documentation, coordinating with consultants, contractors and site teams. A RIBA Part 2 qualification and at least 2 years in practice are required; strong Revit and UK Building Regulations knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• RIBA Part 2 qualification (or equivalent UK-recognized architectural qualification)
• At least 2 years of experience in an architectural practice
• Proven experience delivering projects through RIBA Stage 5 (Technical Design)
• Strong experience producing technical drawings and construction documentation
• Hands‑on experience using Revit for BIM modelling and construction-stage drawing production
• Experience in office refurbishment, Shell & Core, Cat A, Cat A+ or commercial fit‑out projects
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and technical compliance requirements
• Business level fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Preparing, developing, and editing drawings, models, images, and other design-related documents
• Producing and maintaining project drawings using Revit under the guidance of the Design Manager
• Supporting the site team and monitoring project progress
• Collaborating with specialists, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Coordinating with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers
• Preparing design presentations and construction documentation, including detailing and schedules
• Reviewing shop drawings and contractor technical submissions
• Producing technical and construction-stage drawing packages using Revit
• Preparing detailed construction drawings, technical details and specifications
• Supporting projects through RIBA Stage 5 and construction delivery
• Coordinating technical information with consultants, contractors and site teams
• Assisting with resolving technical issues during construction
