Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking a Revit Design Engineer for construction-stage support in Berkshire. The role is office-based in Winnersh with occasional site visits and involves updating drawings across multiple live projects to reflect changes and site conditions.

Responsibilities include revising drawings, prioritising site needs, coordinating with managers and subcontractors, and delivering accurate, up-to-date information for handover.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' Revit experience on live construction projects.
• Energy, pace and the habit of under-promising and over-delivering.
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset.
• Clear, proactive communication.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Food, pharma or industrial experience, or Navisworks, is a plus.

• Turn round urgent site requests on the same or next day.
• Prioritise your workload by site need and give realistic issue dates.

• Visit sites 2–4 times a month.

Revit Design Engineer – Construction Stage

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)

Location: Winnersh, Wokingham, Berkshire (office-based, with occasional site visits)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

They are a family-owned, turnkey design-and-build specialist creating production facilities for food, drink and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Since 2012 they have taken projects from concept through build and handover, so their engineers see their work built, often within weeks.

The role

Once a project is on site, the drawings need to keep pace with the build. You will keep the site teams working from current, accurate information across 8–12 live projects. Around 70% of the role is construction-stage revisions: refining drawings, adding site details and turning client change orders into updated drawings. The remaining 30% is new drawings, including existing layouts, site and traffic management plans and fire strategies.
