Job description

Are you a Revenues Team Leader looking for work in the West Midlands or remotely from home?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in the West Midlands is looking to recruit a Revenues Team Leader to oversee and lead a team of 20 staff who are responsible for all aspects of Council Tax and Business Rates administration.

Responsibilities:

1. Proficiently use the Academy (Capita) Revenues and Benefits System
2. Lead a team of Revenues Officers responsible for administering the Billing, Collection and Recovery of Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR)
3. Carry out appraisals and one to ones
4. Allocate work and monitor individual performance
5. Ensure liabilities for Council Tax are processed, including discounts and exemptions
6. Handle correspondence and contacts from customers relating to Council Tax
7. Contact customers to obtain information to enable accurate billing of Council Tax
8. Deal with more complex queries from customers relating to their Council Tax
9. Assist the Revenues Manager in the drafting of complaint responses
10. Communicate effectively with customers and staff
