Brent Council is seeking a Revenues Inspection Officer to maximise council revenue by inspecting domestic and business properties, ensuring Council Tax and Business Rates records are accurate, up to date and compliant with legislation. About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Brent's Revenues & Debt Service for a Revenues Inspection Officer. In this key role, you will help maximise council revenue by inspecting new and altered domestic and business properties across the borough, ensuring Council Tax and Business Rates records are accurate, up to date and compliant with legislation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys investigative work, problem solving and delivering high-quality customer service.
The successful candidate will be able to manage their workload effectively, contribute to team objectives, travel throughout the borough and work independently as a lone worker.
A full clean driving licence is desirable.
