We have a vacancy for a full time Revenues Inspection Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to actively improve the Council income through collection of Council Tax. We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to be part of a team who work hard to achieve ambitious targets.
Each year the Council collect millions of pounds of Council Tax which all contributes towards delivering essential services for our customers. The team is busy and dynamic, and you can expect to handle customer contact, carry out back-office work and be part of projects and trials to improve processes.
The Revenues Inspection Officer will be responsible for carrying out effective and efficient inspections of dwellings for Council Tax liabilities. The successful candidate will require an excellent knowledge and understanding of Council Tax legislation and be able to effectively review liabilities on a rolling basis to ensure any new or altered dwellings are being accurately recorded.
