As Revenue & Benefits System Support Officer, you will support the Revenues and Benefits Service, ensuring efficient operation and alignment with business objectives. Your role encompasses diagnosing and resolving system issues, enhancing service delivery, and maintaining legislative compliance. You will also facilitate continuous improvement through effective communication and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Revenues and Benefits Systems Support team and provide assistance in supporting all operational functions within the Revenues and Benefits Service to meet Business objectives as outlined in the Service and Operational Plans.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment is conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
We seek someone with extensive knowledge of legislation such as Benefits, Council Tax, and Business Rates. Ideally, familiarity with Housing Benefits is preferred.
You should have excellent IT skills, be organized, self-motivated, capable of problem-solving and analyzing complex data, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Accuracy, meeting deadlines, and a willingness to learn are essential.
