Job summary

Carlisle Support Services in Manchester is seeking a motivated Revenue Protection Officer to welcome and assist customers while ensuring travel compliance. You will be the first point of contact, issuing penalties where needed and supporting station operations with a proactive, friendly presence.

The role involves shifts from early mornings to late nights, with training provided and opportunities to grow within the team. A strong customer-service mindset and reliability are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Issuing penalty fares to travellers without correct payment.
• Manage and control electronic ticket gates (Training provided).
• Assist passengers who require extra support or guidance.
• Be a smart, approachable company presence for customers.
• Handle incidents calmly and effectively; respond to issues as they arise.
• Attend court when required to support prosecution for fares violations.
• Coordinate with Station Supervisor or Station Manager to keep operations smooth.
