Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure is seeking a Financial Analyst - Revenue to lead revenue and direct cost accounting, analysis, reporting and budgeting for the designated utility segment. The role drives accurate close processes and supports the annual budget and various reporting requirements.

The position offers hybrid working for eligible roles, with a fixed-term contract up to 15 months, and a salary starting from £31,519 per year.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant studying ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in finance with basic accounting concepts and financial controls.
• Experience with high-volume financial data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting close processes including accruals and intercompany cross-billing.
• Own, investigate and resolve revenue and direct cost data queries.
• Review revenue and margins against budget and prior month.
• Validate direct cost invoices for the business stream.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Support the annual budget process.
• Assist internal and external reporting (management/board/regulatory).
• Ensure SOX controls compliance across work areas.
• Support audits and liaise with auditors.
• Perform additional duties as required by the manager.
