Job summary

Larbey Evans in London is seeking an experienced Revenue Controller to join a leading US law firm, supporting London billing and collections and some APAC regions, using 3E.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) with offices in Chancery Lane and Holborn and a salary of up to £75,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of client-facing revenue control and collections experience.
• Experience with law firm billing cycles, engagement letters, and fee arrangements.
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
• Proficiency with financial systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients, providing billing guidance and establishing key contacts.
• Act as the primary contact for client billing and payment inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal teams on billing, rates, timekeeper details, invoice narratives, payments and trust accounting.
• Escalate fee disputes, write-off requests and payment plans with appropriate context and recommendations.
• Coordinate account handoffs when formal collection efforts are required.
• Prepare portfolio, aging and payment reports, including monitor portfolio metrics and aging trends.
• Share best practices and identify improvements to onboarding and client communication processes.

Revenue Controller

An exciting newly created opportunity for an experienced Revenue Controller to join leading US law firm in London, supporting all London and some APAC region based revenue and collections, using 3E.

What's On Offer:

The Revenue Controller role is replacing the outgoing person who was based in their US headquarters, however given the firms rapid growth in the London office, have decided to relocate the position to focus on support all London billing and collections control. The role will report into the London Finance Director with a dotted line across to the US HQ whilst working with a Billing team of 6 in London.

Revenue Controller - What You'll Be Doing:

• Onboard new clients, providing billing guidance and establishing key contacts
• Act as the primary contact for client billing and payment enquiries
• Coordinate with internal teams on billing, rates, timekeeper details, invoice narratives, payments, wires, credits and trust accounting
• Escalate fee disputes, write-off requests and payment plans with appropriate context and recommendations
• Coordinate account handoffs when formal collection efforts are required
• Prepare portfolio, aging and payment reports, including monitor portfolio metrics, client engagement, payment timing and aging trends
• Share best practices and identify and recommend improvements to onboarding and client communication processes

Revenue Controller - What We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing role involving revenue control and collections
• Law firm billing cycles, engagement letters and fee arrangements is required
• Demonstrated success managing multiple client relationships simultaneously
• Proficiency with financial systems, CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
• Elite 3E experience highly advantageous
