Job summary

SMBC Group EMEA seeks a Revenue Analyst / Assistant Vice President to join the Income Team within Management Reporting & Analytics. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity of Gross Profit data and providing technical accounting and reporting support across Management and Financial Accounting.

You will liaise with Front Office and Treasury, own EMEA revenue reporting, and contribute to MI produced for management and HO.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualified Accountant (or near qualified).
• Banking experience with exposure to investment banking products.
• Strong numerical and financial skills with ability to interpret financial information and design models.
• Understanding IFRS & JGAAP and impact on SMFG entities.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly TheMIS data preparation and reconciliations across all EMEA locations.
• Monitor revenue attribution across Front Office, Treasury and Planning.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks and provide root cause analysis.
• Support EMEA ALCO and Head Office submissions with P&L insights.
