Job summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking a Technical Support Officer (Reuse) to support the Reuse Hub and related waste reduction projects. The role blends administrative tasks with data handling and site-based activities across multiple facilities.

You will work in the Programmes, Engagement and Data Team, assisting data collection, records maintenance and project support, with a pro-rata, part-time arrangement. Salary reflects full-time equivalent for 37 hours per week.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience of working with data and information systems.
• Ability to manage a varied workload whilst working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the Reuse Hub and waste reduction initiatives.
• Assist with collection and analysis of performance data.
• Maintain records and information systems.
• Support service improvement projects and coordinate activities with colleagues, volunteers and partner organisations.
• Work across multiple waste management facilities, combining office and practical duties.
