Retrofit Project Manager – Site Lead

Job summary

Construction Resources is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee retrofit projects from conception through to completion on site-based assignments. You will manage site teams, ensure work meets programme deadlines, budget constraints and high quality standards while coordinating with the supply chain.

The role requires strong leadership, SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid credentials, and a valid UK driving licence. Experience in energy efficiency or social housing is desirable.

Qualifications

• Leadership and teamwork experience managing site teams
• Ability to plan resources and coordinate programmes
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Experience in retrofit projects and compliance requirements
• IT literacy with Outlook and Excel

Responsibilities

• Manage project setup, including site team allocation, handovers, budgets and programme planning.
• Oversee Site Managers, Site Supervisors, Tenants Liaison Officers and site operatives.
• Hold regular team briefings to communicate priorities and milestones.
• Ensure sites are resourced and deadlines are met.
• Monitor subcontractors and supply chain performance to meet contractual requirements.
• Attend operational meetings and prepare progress reports.
