Job Description:

Happy Energy Solutions Ltd are expanding our team and looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Retrofit Business Development Officer to lead engagement with local authorities and social housing providers. This role plays a key part in driving forward energy efficiency initiatives and building strong partnerships that support the delivery of carbon-saving projects across communities.

Responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact for local authorities and social housing providers, promoting our offerings including ECO funding, HEATflex, local HEAT websites, and carbon-saving solutions, advising stakeholders on funding and efficiency measures, developing partnerships, planning community engagement events, coordinating project implementation, supporting funding applications, and producing outcome reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, especially with local authorities or housing providers.
• Good understanding of carbon reduction strategies, ECO/HEATflex schemes, and energy efficiency funding.
• Strong communication skills, full UK driving license, willingness to travel, and experience attending community events.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
• Experience working with charities or community groups (desirable).
• Knowledge of local government frameworks and funding cycles.
• Qualifications in environmental sciences, energy management, or related fields (desirable).

Location:

Hybrid, Home-Based (within close proximity to London and the South East). Regular travel to London, the South East, and occasionally further afield will be required.
