Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions LLC in Belfast is hiring an Operations Analyst to support our Retirements team. You will oversee the full lifecycle of retirement account operations, including contributions, distributions, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance for introducing broker-dealers.

The role requires knowledge of IRS rules and the ability to apply practical solutions to complex operational challenges. The ideal candidate has retirement plan administration or brokerage operations experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance/economics/business/accounting or related field.
• Proven experience in retirement account operations, brokerage operations, or financial services operations is essential.
• Ability to pass SIE exam within 90 days and FINRA Series 99 within the year.

Responsibilities

• Manage retirement account operations across multiple product types, ensuring IRS limits and distribution rules are followed.
• Support tax reporting and IRS filing, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely submissions.
• Handle customer inquiries via email/phone to explain contribution limits, distributions, and tax implications.
• Stay updated on IRS regulations, ERISA, and FINRA/SEC guidelines relevant to retirement services.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
