Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Operations Analyst to support our Retirements team. You will manage retirement account operations, including contributions, distributions, and tax reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance for introducing broker-dealers.

The role requires a solid understanding of IRS rules governing retirement accounts, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive process improvements across our brokerage operations in a fast-paced fintech

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
Experience in retirement plan administration or brokerage operations is essential.
SIE and FINRA Series 99 within given timelines.

Responsibilities

Retirement Account Operations: Process IRA contributions, distributions, RMDs across accounts.
Tax Reporting & IRS Filing: Prepare and file Form 1099-R and Form 5498; fix discrepancies.
Account Maintenance & Compliance: Manage beneficiaries, corrections, and IRC/ERISA compliance.
Customer Support: Address client inquiries via email/phone with accurate guidance.
Knowledge Expansion: Stay updated on IRS, ERISA, FINRA/SEC rules.
Process Improvement: Recommend changes to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
