Job Title: Team Manager

Location:

PORTSMOUTH

Introduction:

Are you interested in retail and looking for a role involving high-profile projects with leading UK grocery and DIY chains? We offer salaried Team Manager positions working on new stores, refits, range reviews, and store support projects. This role requires fast decision-making and team leadership in merchandising and stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of merchandisers and replenishment staff.
• Communicate progress and project completion with management.
• Conduct health and safety inductions and checks.
• Work shifts typically 12 hours, including days and nights, Sunday to Thursday.
• Use our Field Power platform via smartphone to set availability and accept shifts.
• Clock in/out using your smartphone through our RAS Dashboard.
• Perform tasks on various retail sites, including stock removal/replacement, adjusting shelf heights, and stock movement using roll cages and pallet trucks.
• Travel may be required, with accommodation provided when staying away.
• Make decisions, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Previous experience in merchandising, retail supervision, or team management is preferred.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting involved. Ability to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights.
