Job summary

Merlin Entertainments operates across a 64-acre site with multiple retail outlets. The Retail Team Leader will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and drive sales while maintaining high standards and excellent customer service.

In this fixed-term role (to January 2028), you’ll handle stock, visual merchandising, and audits, with shifts including weekends and evenings. A proactive, detail-oriented leader will thrive in this busy, guest-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Retail Supervisor or Team Leader (desirable).
• High levels of pro-activity in an operational setting with problem solving skills.
• Experience within a fast-paced customer facing environment.
• Involvement in organising, motivating, and coaching a team.
• Passion for retail with keen eye for detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple retail outlets on site.

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and driven individual to take charge of our retail gift shops. As a Retail Team Leader, you’ll ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high store standards and unleash your creativity to explore new and exciting revenue opportunities.

In this role, you'll be more than just a leader, you’ll be a coach, a motivator and a key player in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. With no two days the same, you’ll be involved in everything from stock control and visual merchandising to food hygiene audits and shop upkeep.

This is a 64-acre site with units positioned all around this area which has different gradients, the successful applicant would be required to be positioned at all retail outlets and be comfortable in doing so.

This will be a fixed term (contracted to January 2028), working over 5 days, which will include weekends and bank holidays, plus evening shifts.

Pay Range

GBP £13.95/Hr.
