C2 Recruitment Limited in Port Talbot is seeking a Retail Team Driver to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from shift sites across the region. You will travel between retail sites, with certain locations offering a provided minibus, and you will be paid for driving time.

The role requires a Full Driving Licence, resilience to unsociable hours including early mornings or nights, and the ability to use a handheld scanner to count stock quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full Driving Licence.
• Ability to stand for long periods and use access equipment.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and willingness to long shifts.
• Experience handling stock is an advantage but not required.
• Shift patterns include early mornings or nights.

Responsabilités

• Oversee transportation of stock counters to/from shifts.
• Travel between retail sites; some minibus transport provided.
• Notify pick-up points and timings for each shift.
• Escalate vehicle issues promptly.
• Complete team attendance sheet with attendance times.
• Ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately with handheld scanner.
• Stand for long periods and may use equipment to reach high stock.

Salary: £14.29 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay) *

Location: Port Talbot

(8-10 hour stock count shifts + your driving time paid)

The Role

• We are looking for

Retail Team Driver to add to our already successful team.

• This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region


• Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.


• You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift


• Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner


• Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.


• Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.


• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of

25 years

• This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.


• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.

• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
