Job summary

C2 Recruitment Limited is hiring a Retail Team Driver in Bradford. You will oversee transporting a small team of stock counters to and from shifts across multiple sites, with some locations offering a provided minibus. The role pays hourly and includes additional benefits. Immediate start available.

Role requires a full driving license and readiness for long shifts, with driving time paid and holiday pay included. You will work on 8–10 hour shifts, with wage access available after shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full driving licence and be able to drive between sites.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with stock counting using handheld scanners.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing technology and processes.
• Experience with stock handling is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transport of a small team of stock counters to shifts within your region.
• Travel between retail sites; certain locations may include minibus transport provided at no charge.
• Notify count team of pickup points and timings for each shift; escalate vehicle issues promptly.
• Complete a team attendance sheet with timings and attendance details.
• Count stock quickly and accurately on site using a handheld scanner; assist with equipment as needed.

Salary: £14.29 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay) *

The Role

• We are looking for

Retail Team Driver to add to our already successful team.

• This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region
• Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
• You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift
• Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
• Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
• Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of

25 years.

• This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
